Welcome to the KP Homepage

This is a site dedicated to Kevin Pietersen.
It is unofficial but I will provide as much information as I can about this fantastic Cricketer.

Although I do welcome any idea's on how to build the site etc,
if you do come and browse then please sign the guestbook before you leave.

Hope you enjoy the site!

My opinion on recent events!!

20/10/2005
Well peeps its been a while, I do apologise.
Was a great night for Kevin at the awards ceremony in Sydney.
Well deserved awards for him.
Couple of days time and all the lads will be off for the tour of Pakistan, should be good.
The world XI thing was an entire waste of time and effort, was only important for the Aussies after their Ashes loss.
A team of 11 who have been playing on the same team for 7-10 days put out against a team who have just come off a tour of England hmmm, well organised that was.
Well its been pretty quiet recently on the cricket scene but it'll be back soon.

Well what can I say, its been a fantastic series. Wonderful performances from each individual. KP's final innings was heroic, he stood up and was counted. Alot of people thought it was being thrown away at that stage considering how many wickets we had lost. KP was lucky at first being dropped by Hayden on 0, Warne on 15 and Tait on 60 but it proved to be his day and he fired us through by scoring 158.
Many people had started criticising KP for his off the field antics but what does his earrings, pendants and what not's have to do with his on the field performances? I don't see why his off the field antics always need to be brought into the situation. He has now proved he can cut it and he has proved he can absorb pressure when his country really need his help. This England team are a marvellous bunch of lads and you feel you can relate to each one of them.
The parade yesterday was amazing, something completely out of this world. I was born and bred in London and even though I live in Ireland at the moment I am proud to be English and always have been. You don't hear much about the Ashes victory over here, it isn't really a cricketing country but I still celebrated.
Just want to say, well done lads. Well deserved win and a great come back from the loss at Lord's. Big shout out to KP too.

You've all done us so proud!

I'm sorry its been so long since my last post but I had many things to do esp with my birthday and trying to sort profiles for my new site.
I'm still a little lost for words after the 4th test excitement, another amazing game. Of course England didn't make it easy for themselves, when do we ever lol everyone's nerves were shredded the more wickets we lost. Something that Slater said on channel 4's commentary also made me a little jumpy as our wickets fell, Australia in the past were in a test and needed 117 to win the match but were all out at 111 hearing things like that can certainly make you edgy but thankfully we proved we can do it and beat the aussies by 3 wickets.
What a performance by Hoggy and Gilo too, some silly shots were played by a few of the other's to get themself out but that shot from Hoggy near the end that went for 4 was amazing.
Well I asked the lads to win fer me birthday and they did so thanks very much lads, meant a lot was a lovely present.
Now lets see if we can do it again, its looking like Simon Jones won't be fit for the last match and he has had a vital part in the bowling recently, good luck in getting fit Simon I hope you can make it.
I have decided not to give too much webspace to Ponting's rant the other day, Scared of being the 1st Aussie captain in yrs to possibly lose the Ashes. He's a Sore Loser and extremly hypocritical.
The 5th and final test is on its way,

Come on England
Show the Aussies what were made of.

Well I can honestly admit to being gutted, we were sooooo very close. But lots of things can be taken away from this, I have never seen anyone celebrate a draw like the Aussie's did, if I didn't know better i'd have said they were scared of us. If that's the case then knowing that a great team like Australia are scared must prove we are doing something right.
I felt for Freddie, the effort that guy puts into his game is phenomenal. He looked real depressed after the game (see pic) as most of us felt i'm sure. Also felt for Kevin though, 5th drop catch isn't good for him but it ain't like he meant it. I mean the papers get on his back and what on earth is the point in doing that. Paper's will be paper's though. Anyway test 3 over (its flying by) 2 more left. Test number 4 is 2 days after me birthday so am hoping for a lil late present (A win for England). COME ON ENGLAND!!!!!

Well, Well Mr Pietersen has a new hair colour (A Photo added). Not a personal favourite colour of mine but hey its his head lol. Can't say i'll ever go blue although have been every other colour.
Red and White is a preferred fave though (Arsenal & England colours).
Saying that, if that streak brings him luck in his batting then it was a great move. The blue don't stand out as much as the blonde did but I'm sure he'll decide to change it again soon, bit like myself.
Never stay the same hair colour too long or you get bored lol.
Well Good Luck tmoro lads I wish ya's all the best, I'm even getting up to go shopping early as not to miss the game lol.

07/08/2005
My god, what a game that was. I couldn't believe it, I was up early for the match which for me isn't normal on a sunday lol. All I can say is thank god I have not got high blood pressure or I cud av ended up keeling over. I was already nervous bout the football today (Arsenal v Chelski) so having a cricket match make me jumpy and shaky wasn't a good start lol.

But a big WELL DONE to the England team, it was an outstanding test match. What can words say about Freddie's contribution - Amazing.
Well done lads and good luck for round 3.

03/08/2005
What can I say, Paul Collingwood never even got a chance. Now I know this is a Kevin Pietersen page but I like to have my say about the cricket too. Collingwood has been outstanding for Durham recently, 3 centuries in the past few games. First he was drafted into the squad then he was let go again. Ah well my ranting won't do anything to solve it.

The 2nd Test is tomorrow, Vaughan was lucky there after his accident yesterday. Chris Tremlett or Gremlin as I affectionately call him done a great bowling trick, shame it was at Michael Vaughan and not Ricky Pontin or another Aussie though lol.
Well come on Giles now is your chance to prove all your critic's wrong involving your place.
Good luck England, lets make this one count eh!

29/07/2005
Well its just under a week till the 2nd test in the Ashes, watching the 1st test was one of the only times I can say I prayed for rain as much as I did but again the weather decided to let myself and many other England cricket fans down.
Typical really, it only rains when you don't want it too.
If England were close to winning I bet the clouds would have opened up then and kept raining for days.

Australia seem to have an edge over England, the batsman seemed frightened. Yes Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath are fantastic bowlers but shouldn't our batsman know how to cope with that?
The bowlers done a great job in the 1st innings, getting rid of the Aussie's so quickly. Ah well cannot dwell, lets just hope Michael Vaughan can come back raring to go and in fighting form as Kapes was in the 1st test

Congratulations To KP

Well I would like to congratulate Kevin for such a wonderful performace against Australia, it was wonderful to see some fighting spirit. A few dropped catches is not giving him any confidence but I believe it is only a matter of time before he takes his 1st Test catch. One man surely cannot have that much bad luck in the field.
What an innings that was, a fine performance.
158 runs to help us with a draw for the series win.
